On the 22nd of November, we decided to go all American and celebrate Thanksgiving. We gave thanks to all the great bottles of New Zealand wine we enjoyed so far by turning drinking into a classy event. We dressed up like fancy adults and got picked up from our camping spot (fancy indeed) for a wine tasting afternoon. Talking about a vegetarian friendly replacement for the traditional Thanksgiving turkey! Our guide Vince, a professional wine taster (my new life ambition), asked us what kinds of wine we prefer. Tinne and I looked at each other and had one of our telepathic conversations: "white, pink, red and cheap." But we decided to act like classy grown ups and just gave him a generous smile. He answered with lots of expensive wine. We answered with the classiest possible jumps of joy.
