At Wintermoon I met the amazing Darlene who invited me to stay at her house for a while to relax and take a break from travelling around. What a woman! And what a house! A gorgeous place in the middle of a rainforest, right next to Eungella national park. I felt at home and became part of the family right away. Days were filled with adventures, stories, swimming in the creek, playing in the garden, jumping off waterfalls and trying to pat alpacas without them spitting in your face.
