The things we do to make a living :) After months spent in rainforests, on beaches and festivals, it was strange to get thrown into the total opposite lifestyle: the one where our job is to take money from parents in order to stop their kids from crying. To let children dream of winning a giant purple pony but brutally pop their bubble by giving them their real prize; a tiny piece of plastic crap. And the crying starts again.
It's not all screaming kids and sweaty parents at the Cairns show. There is also the latest Rihanna, Bieber and One Direction blasting in your face. All at the same time. Fourteen hours a day. I love my job.
