Life on a ramble

I love women singing like men and men like women. I love fluidity. I love a husky morning voice. I apparently love dreaming I’m walking down the kitchen utensils isles in IKEA so much it makes me wake up smiling to myself wanting nothing more than to instantly go back to browsing for cutlery with my lovers arms around my shoulders. I love floating in the river first thing in the morning on my back so that early sliver of sun hits me right in the eye. In that moment I love thinking how beautiful is life? One minute I’m in dream land IKEA next moment I run down the hill barefoot trying not to step on any wasps just wanting that fresh dew dropped grass blading under my soles. From the sole to the soul.

Oh baby I love the blues but that old blues that real good blues that makes me trip out from life in this moment to a different life in another time and it sends shivers down my spine and I close my eyes and make this exact sound mmmmm. Where are you on your spiritual path right now? Someone asks me and I think for 29 nights and days or just half a minute before answering this is it.

Being enveloped in wild nature, cactus flowers eating me alive, the sun blazing my eyelashes off oh child it’s hot. Little fish swimming with me in the river, frogs serenading the nightfall we’re all just trying to cool down. I guess all we’re trying to do is to walk that path whether it’s by floating or flying or swimming or climbing sometimes I stay under for so long I believe I turn into a mermaid then I come up to the surface and realise I’m just a frog longing to kiss my prince so he turns into a froggy too.

I might have read Alice In Wonderland in all the right places and I have allowed myself to embody it so much so my mind talks in tales and I lose all sense of weirdness and absurdity. I’ve never been a boss babe, I was born a moss babe so these vibrant greens in the north of Portugal make me feel all kinds of alive. Life is filled with forest and river frolics and is there something I’d rather do? No. Except for dreaming about wandering the isles of IKEA.
